The "No Market Risk" concept was founded by a veteran entrepreneur, with the goal of injecting some common sense into the money management industry. Our stated "Mission" is to debunk much of the outdated financial advice, and many of the programs offered by the single minded and institutionally trained money managers, who dominate the industry.
Helping an individual, or a company's employees, retire with more fruits of their labor is a noble profession. However, during the past decade, the profession has been tarnished by the absence of forward thinking, preparation, planning and understanding of the economy and the market place in general. The business of financial advising and planning has failed the small and average investor miserably, at least twice during the last 10 years.
Some Food for Thought:
Does anyone really think the larger investors, like Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway), Wells Fargo, Wachovia, Credit Swiss Bank, UBS Bank, Trans-America Insurance Co, and numerous others, suffered a 40% drop in the value of their portfolios during the past 18 months, or in 2000-2001 for that matter? If you do, you should probably give it some additional thought, as you are in serious denial.
Bill Gates, the CEO of Microsoft and the richest man in America, stated, that the three keys to fantastic success in any business, are:
1.) Being in the right place at the right time
2.) Having the vision to see where an industry is going
3.) Taking both immediate and massive action

Back in 2007, we started recommending, to both current and potential clients, that there could be some problems in the near future and that we had some great alternatives to market driven products. If both items are not included in your plan, you could experience the negative results of future meltdowns, like the 2001 bust, and the more recent meltdown in 2008.
There are other very important areas in any portfolio, and they will also be addressed. However, we must first get the initial two items in place, before we can go forward. We will continue to monitor and fine tune your investments throughout each year, to insure you receive maximum growth.
In the spirit of research and development, we attend numerous competitor's seminars, and visit with various advisors, as if we are potential clients. This research allows us to get a feel for what you, the average investor, is being offered in the form of advice. Virtually everyone is still focused on the market. They consider it the only barometer and vehicle for accumulating wealth, and the compass which offers any direction for the financial world. Most advisers live and die by the market, and consequently, so do most investors.
Our research shows a lack of understanding concerning basic business practices, and the economy in general. A dose of common sense is long overdue for many advisors, as it pertains to the financial world.
